Sustainable/Eco Fashion is the production of clothes that are sensitively produced without the use of pesticides, unfair labor, sustainable fabric and practices.
Sustainable fashion consists of clothing and accessories made with environmentally friendly materials and produced with the smallest carbon footprint possible. These factors, along with adherence to fair trade agreements and adequate working conditions and pay for employees of the company creating the items are the foundation of the sustainable fashion industry.
Sustainable fashion utilizes materials that are either grown using organic practices, easily renewable, or repurposed, such as: organic cotton, bamboo, soy, and hemp.
The fashion industry is one of many around the world, that is very closely linked to our natural environment. Traditional garment life-cycles degrade our natural resources and emit a tremendous amount of pollution from the large amount of energy and toxic chemicals required.
Sustainable fashion is a form of industrial progress that meets the needs of every-day fashionistas from all walks of life, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their fashion needs.
